BMW Art Car M3 GT2 By Jeff Koons

I’ve always loved the BMW art cars.  From Warhol and Lichtenstein to David Hockney, these collaborations of artist and automobile have always inspired.   Another masterpiece has been added to the collection, this one done by Jeff Koons.

After a lap in the M3 GT2 Koons described the BMW as “raw, unfiltered performance”.  No doubt that he drew from from that exhilarating ride in creating the graphics on the car – representing speed, debris and acceleration.   Koons stated “cars are like life, they are powerful and have a lot of energy”.
