Bosozoku is a Japanese subculture originally associated with motorcycle clubs and gangs.  The word itself literally translates to “violent running gang”.  These gangs shared an interest in modifying their bikes (often illegally).  Today the “Bosozoku style” has spilled over to the car scene in Japan, and has even made it’s way to the states.  These cars are often characterized by bright paint, large body kits, and dramatic exhaust pipes.  Exposed oil coolers and intercoolers mounted on the front bumper are also common.
